Our Story
Kambili was born out of our founder’s pride in the Motherland and the deep positive emotions she evokes. The burning desire to stay connected to the warm embrace of Africa, no matter where life leads one, also inspired her to plant this seed of progress.
Our brand is an invitation for all to join hands and prosper together.
Our name comes from the Igbo language and means ‘let’s thrive’. This reflects our founder’s vision: to build a brand that uplifts artisans in African communities. Today, we continue to be that window through which skilled artisans and crafts people can showcase their creativity profitably to the world. So, as we journey together, we believe our impact will grow. More artisans like tailors, weavers and print makers will receive training, get resources, and be gainfuly employed. This will allow them to contribute meaningfully to their local communities and, ultimately, to the whole continent.
